Parking Exception

The Town of Milton does not offer permit parking on Town streets; however, parking exceptions are granted to allow residents to park on the street for up to 25 days per calendar year, per vehicle license plate, as follows:

• In excess of five hours
• From 2 am to 6 am

During snow-clearing operations, the Town has the right to suspend street parking exceptions at any time. Parking exceptions obtained prior to the snow event are null and void during snow-clearing operations; your vehicle is never permitted to obstruct snow removal.

Parking exceptions will not be granted for:

• Commercial vehicles over 6.7 metres in length or 2.6 metres in height
• School buses and commercial coaches
• Derelict vehicles, unlicensed vehicles and immobile trailers

Please note that there are four steps to obtain a valid confirmation number. This is step one. Your exception is approved when you receive the confirmation number.
